While dressing for the day, guests are greeted by the aroma of early morning coffee, and in spite of winter's chill, are welcome to watch the day unfold on the river. Waterfowl, commercial crabbers, the ODU rowing team at practice, and all forms of nature quietly waking are but a few of the gentle scenes to witness.

Breakfast is served promptly at 8:00 a.m. With the onset of winter chill, the lovely formal dining room is warm and welcoming.
