She will also be happy to personally escort you on a fun-filled tour to one of Norfolk's fine antiques shopping areas. Your tour will be topped off with a Dutch-treat lunch.

While dressing for the day, guests are greeted by the aroma of early morning coffee, and in spite of winter's chill, are welcome to watch the day unfold on the river. Waterfowl, commercial crabbers, the ODU rowing team at practice, and all forms of nature quietly waking are but a few of the gentle scenes to witness.



Breakfast is served promptly at 8:00 a.m. With the onset of winter chill, the lovely formal dining room is warm and welcoming. The beautifully appointed table complete with fine china, crystal, and linen napery boasts a delicious and bountiful breakfast of juice, fruits, breakfast breads, steaming hot coffee, and scrumptuous entrees served with a Southern touch.

"The Best Little Book of Breakfast Dishes", published by your hosts, contains many of our favorite recipes and is available to our guests.
